[03-02-2025] – Two-Vehicle Collision with Injuries in Tobyhanna

Tobyhanna, PA – On Sunday evening, a two-vehicle collision resulting in injuries occurred at the intersection of Hap Arnold Blvd and the I-380 on-ramp in Coolbaugh Township. Emergency responders were promptly dispatched, including Pocono Mountain Regional Police (PMRP), Station 25, EMS units 1102 and 1408, along with Ed’s Towing, at about 6:25 p.m.
Initial reports indicated that while one vehicle remained obstructing the roadway, there were no individuals trapped inside. EMS unit 1102 arrived on the scene by 6:32 p.m. to evaluate those injured. During the assessment, a female victim was found to have a leg injury and was taken to a nearby hospital for additional medical treatment at 6:43 p.m.
EMS 1408 was also present at the incident but was released from the scene shortly after confirming that no further medical transports were necessary. Meanwhile, authorities worked to manage the scene with the help of Ed’s Towing in removing the vehicles involved.
The PMRP unit reached the location at 6:49 p.m., and by 7:23 p.m., Station 25 reported that the scene was cleared and all emergency units had returned to service. We extend our thoughts to the injured individual and hope for her swift recovery.
