Batavia, NY (May 8, 2025) – A bicyclist was injured Thursday afternoon in a crash involving a vehicle at the intersection of East Main Street and Cedar Street in Batavia, according to Batavia Police.
Emergency responders arrived shortly after the incident and found a female cyclist suffering from a head laceration. She was alert and conscious while paramedics provided treatment at the scene before transporting her to a nearby hospital for further evaluation.
The intersection was partially blocked while crews assisted the injured party and managed the scene. No information regarding the cause of the crash or potential citations has been released as the investigation continues.
