Clay, NY – Passenger Injured in Hit-and-Run Involving Honda CR-V on West Taft Rd

Clay, NY (April 11, 2025) – A hit-and-run incident left one person injured Friday afternoon at the intersection of West Taft Road and Dormar Drive, according to New York State Police.
Troopers were dispatched to the scene at approximately 12:47 p.m., where they found a grey 2021 Honda CR-V with rear-end damage. The driver told officers she was traveling on West Taft Road when a white van struck her vehicle from behind and fled the scene.
The driver of the Honda was not injured. A passenger in the vehicle was transported to a hospital for treatment of neck and back pain.
Authorities later located the van at a residence in the Town of Clay. The investigation remains ongoing as troopers work to identify the driver.
