Constantia, NY (October 9, 2025) – Michael Poli, 35, of Constantia, was killed early Thursday morning, 9th October, 2025, in a single-vehicle crash on County Route 17, between Cook Road and Roosevelt Road.
The Oswego County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene around 12:07 a.m. Preliminary investigation indicates that Poli was driving a 2002 Volkswagen GTI northbound when he lost control of the vehicle. The car left the roadway, overturned, and struck a tree. Poli was pronounced dead at the scene.
Emergency services on site included the New York State Police, Cleveland Volunteer Fire Department, and Menter Ambulance, all of whom assisted with the response.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash. Traffic in the area was temporarily affected during the emergency response.
