Rochester, NY (May 8, 2025) – A serious car crash sent one person to the hospital Wednesday afternoon on Rochester’s west side.
The collision happened around 781 West Main Street, a busy stretch known for high traffic. Emergency crews responded to the scene just after the crash was reported. The incident was classified as an Advanced Life Support (ALS) emergency.
Paramedics provided critical care at the scene. One person was transported to a local trauma center. The exact nature of their injuries has not yet been released.
The Rochester Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash. Speed, distraction, or driver error may have been factors.
