Rochester, NY (May 6, 2025) – A crash with serious injuries occurred Tuesday on Genesee Street near the 600 block, according to local officials.
Emergency responders arrived at 693 Genesee Street and provided Advanced Life Support (ALS) care to at least one individual who was critically injured. The victim was transported to a nearby trauma center for further treatment. The number of vehicles involved has not yet been confirmed.
The crash occurred in a busy urban corridor with heavy traffic and limited visibility. Crews temporarily restricted traffic while they assisted the injured and cleared the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
