Whitestown, NY (June 16, 2025) – A tractor-trailer rolled onto its side on the New York State Thruway in Oneida County on Monday afternoon, causing major traffic disruptions for eastbound drivers. The incident was reported at approximately 3:10 p.m. in the town of Whitestown.
By 6:30 p.m., authorities confirmed that the right lane of the Thruway remained closed, with traffic backed up by about one mile. The driver of the tractor-trailer sustained minor injuries but was otherwise unharmed.
State police are continuing to investigate the cause of the rollover, and crews are working to clear the scene.
