[12-13-2024] – Fatal Injury at Construction Site on E 35th St & Park Ave

Manhattan, NY – A tragic construction accident struck Murray Hill on Friday morning, claiming the life of a construction worker. The incident unfolded around 10:00 a.m. at the intersection of East 35th Street and Park Avenue Tunnel. Emergency responders reported that the worker was operating a cherry picker when he unfortunately struck his head against a beam.

Immediately after the impact, the unidentified construction worker fell unconscious. Emergency medical teams arrived swiftly at the scene, working to revive him before he was transported to a nearby hospital. Sadly, he was later pronounced dead due to the severity of his injuries.
