Rochester, NY (April 30, 2025) – A deadly crash occurred Wednesday morning on Brockport Spencerport Road in Rochester, resulting in the death of a sport utility vehicle driver, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident was reported just after 8:00 a.m. Deputies say a large delivery truck was stationary when it was struck from behind by an SUV. The impact caused significant damage to the SUV, and its driver was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
Two occupants of the delivery truck were transported to a nearby hospital for evaluation. Their injuries were reported as non-life-threatening.
The crash led to a temporary closure of Brockport Spencerport Road while investigators worked to document the scene. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
