Rochester, NY (Sept. 21, 2026) – A motorcyclist was taken to the hospital after his motorcycle collided with a car near the intersection of Lyell Avenue and Murray Street, Rochester Police said.
The crash happened just before 3:30 p.m. on September 21, as a driver attempted to turn her car onto Murray Street while the motorcyclist was heading east on Lyell Avenue, according to police. The two vehicles collided in the intersection.
The motorcyclist, a 31-year-old man, was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital and is expected to survive, police said. The driver of the car, a 50-year-old woman, did not appear to be injured. Police issued traffic tickets to both drivers.
