Clinton, NY – On February 6, 2025, at around 8:44 p.m., State Police responded to a fatal accident on State Route 11 in Clinton.
According to investigators, 20-year-old Brian T. Nolette of Malone, NY, was driving a 2014 GMC pickup westbound when he lost control, crossing into oncoming traffic. At the same time, a 2022 tractor-trailer driven by 55-year-old Matthew W. Barney of Brasher Falls, NY, was traveling east. Unable to avoid the pickup, Barney’s truck collided with it.
