Update on Bicycle Crash
6th October, 12:45 p.m.– The New Hartford Police Department has confirmed that the driver involved in the Oxford Road crash has been identified as Rachel Guarnieri, 83, of New Hartford.
Guarnieri was ticketed for failing to yield to the bicyclist.
No one involved in the collision was seriously injured. The bicyclist, a 14-year-old male, is also from New Hartford.
New Hartford, NY (October 6, 2025) – A 14-year-old bicyclist was injured in a collision with a car on Oxford Road in New Hartford on Monday, prompting a response from the New Hartford Police and Fire Departments.
Both the bicyclist and the 83-year-old driver of the car were transported to Wynn Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Emergency personnel provided on-site care before transport.
