Rochester, NY – 24-Year-Old Motorcyclist Hospitalized After Crash With Nissan Rogue in South Main St

Motorcycle Accident in Rochester, NY

Rochester, NY (August 21, 2025) – A 24-year-old Rochester resident was seriously injured early Thrusday morning when the motorcycle he was operating collided with a car near 111 South Main Street. The incident occurred around 5:29 a.m.

The motorcyclist, who was wearing a helmet at the time, was hospitalized for severe injuries. The driver of the Nissan Rogue, a 69-year-old resident of East Rochester, was not injured.

Police reported that the 2022 Harley-Davidson Iron 883 operated by the motorcyclist ended up under the Nissan after the crash. The Nissan was turning left into a business when it crossed the opposite lane and collided with the motorcycle. Both vehicles sustained damage and were towed from the scene.

Emergency responders, including Rochester Fire and Frisbie EMS, quickly arrived, and the Strafford County Regional Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team assisted with the investigation. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
