Schodack, NY (May 30, 2025) – A two-car crash on Route 22 in Berlin caused significant disruptions to traffic on the morning of May 30, 2025. The incident occurred around 7:10 a.m. between Airport Road and Sandbank Road, prompting an emergency response from local authorities and fire personnel.
The Berlin Fire Department confirmed that three individuals were transported to the hospital for medical treatment. While the specific extent of their injuries has not been disclosed, their conditions remain under evaluation.
As a result of the crash, Route 22 was closed for a period but has since reopened. The crash took place near Berlin Middle/High School, leading to the cancellation of a scheduled prom promise mock accident event by the Berlin Central School District. Fortunately, no students were involved in the crash.
