Bradford County, PA (May 23, 2025) – Former Ohio State wide receiver Julian Fleming was seriously injured in a fatal ATV crash on Friday evening in Bradford County, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
The incident occurred on Painter Lick Lane in northeastern Pennsylvania, where the ATV, traveling northbound, struck a deer that had unexpectedly entered the roadway. Fleming sustained serious injuries and was transported to Guthrie Troy Community Hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, the passenger, 23-year-old Alyssa Boyd, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Neither Fleming nor Boyd was wearing safety gear at the time of the crash, as confirmed by police. The crash remains under investigation, with authorities looking into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Fleming, who spent four seasons at Ohio State, transferred to Penn State for the 2024 season. We extend our condolences to the family of Alyssa Boyd and wish Julian Fleming a full and speedy recovery.
