Brighton, NY (July 13, 2025) – Marjuan Simmons, age 18, of Irondequoit, was arrested Tuesday after crashing a stolen vehicle on South Winton Road in Brighton.
The incident began when the owner of the stolen vehicle spotted it being driven in Rochester and followed it to Brighton. Simmons lost control of the vehicle, crashing it on South Winton Road.
Simmons sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital before being arrested. He was charged with criminal possession of stolen property.
The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to contact 911 or speak with a Brighton police supervisor.
