Brodheadsville, PA (May 28, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash with injuries occurred Wednesday afternoon on Route 209 in Brodheadsville, Chestnuthill Township. The accident took place around 2:03 p.m. in front of the Wawa at 1781 Route 209, prompting an immediate response from local emergency services.
Upon arrival, emergency responders found two vehicles with significant damage and at least one individual injured. EMS crews from Unit 801 provided medical care on-site before transporting the injured party to a nearby medical facility for further evaluation. The severity of the injuries has not yet been disclosed.
The crash caused temporary disruptions along the busy Route 209 corridor, especially as first responders worked to clear debris, remove damaged vehicles, and manage the scene. The incident occurred in a high-traffic commercial area, which added to the congestion during the response.
