Buffalo, NY (June 29, 2025) – A man was rushed to the hospital after crashing his car into a building Sunday afternoon.
At approximately 4:30 p.m., emergency responders arrived on the scene at the 2900 block of Bailey Avenue, just south of Kensington Avenue, to find an unresponsive male driver behind the wheel. Preliminary investigations suggest that the driver may have suffered a medical episode before losing control of the vehicle.
The man was transported to Erie County Medical Center for further treatment, but his current condition has not been disclosed. National Fuel personnel were also seen at the site.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
Our thoughts are with the injured man, and we hope for his swift recovery.
Car Crash Claims in NY
Severe car crashes are frequent across Upstate New York, especially on major highways like I-81, I-88, and Route 6. In these regions, snow, ice, low visibility, and aggressive trucking traffic lead to high rates of highway collisions and fatalities. Local cities, such as Binghamton, Elmira, and Syracuse, continue to report rising numbers of motor vehicle accidents, particularly during the winter months.
Under New York’s no-fault insurance system, your basic medical expenses and lost wages are covered regardless of fault. However, if you suffer a serious injury, you may step outside the no-fault system and file a lawsuit against the at-fault driver for additional damages such as pain and suffering.
New York law gives you three years from the date of the accident to file a personal injury lawsuit. Without immediate legal help from a New York car accident lawyer, it is easy for victims to lose critical evidence, fall behind on deadlines, or accept unfair settlements that do not reflect the true cost of their injuries.
