Canaan, NY (May 12, 2025) – At least one person was injured in a crash Monday morning on NY Route 22 southbound, just before the I-90 interchange, according to local authorities.
The incident was reported at around 10:23 a.m., prompting emergency crews to respond to the scene. Upon arrival, responders found that the crash had caused injuries and blocked the right shoulder of the roadway as aid was administered.
The number of people involved and the severity of injuries have not yet been disclosed. Officials have also not released information on the vehicles involved. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
