DeWitt, NY (May 25, 2025) – A tragic crash on Sunday evening in DeWitt resulted in the death of 19-year-old Victor Jensen from the town of Manlius. The incident occurred around 8:50 p.m. in the 1300 block of Nottingham Road, near The Nottingham retirement community.
Jensen, who was riding west on Nottingham Road, collided with a Subaru Crosstrek that was traveling east and attempting to turn into The Nottingham. According to Deputy Chief Andrew Fusco of the DeWitt Police Department, Jensen was thrown from his motorcycle and sustained severe injuries. He was transported to Upstate University Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
The driver of the Crosstrek, 59-year-old Michael Page of Chatham, Massachusetts, was uninjured, though a passenger in his vehicle sustained a non-life-threatening neck injury and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The DeWitt Police Department is continuing its investigation into the cause of the crash. No charges have been filed at this time.
