East Syracuse, NY (May 9, 2025) – A crash on I-481 southbound between the I-90/Thruway (Exit 6) and Kirkville Road (Exit 5) left multiple people injured Friday evening, according to local authorities.
The incident occurred around 8:05 p.m. and led to the closure of the right lane, resulting in heavy traffic delays. Emergency responders arrived quickly to assess the scene and administer aid to the injured. The extent of their injuries has not yet been disclosed.
Efforts were made to clear the scene and restore traffic flow. Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
