Waterloo, NY (September 9, 2025) – A 61-year-old woman riding a bicycle was tragically killed Monday morning after being struck by two vehicles on Hecker Road in Waterloo. The collision occurred around 7:30 a.m. on 8th September, 2025, as the cyclist was traveling eastbound.
According to New York State Police, the bicyclist was struck by the vehicles, both traveling eastbound, and was pronounced dead at the scene. Both drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement officers, providing their statements. Police confirmed there were no signs of impairment from the drivers involved.
The incident remains under investigation by New York State Police, and authorities are continuing to gather information about the crash.
