Floyd, NY (June 6, 2025) – A fatal crash occurred on State Route 49 in the town of Floyd on June 6, 2025, at 10:32 a.m. A vehicle was traveling eastbound when it left the roadway on the south shoulder and collided with a tree.

The male driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced deceased at the scene.
