Glens Falls, NY (May 3, 2025) – Two people were killed early Saturday morning in a motorcycle crash on Bacon Street in Glens Falls, according to New York State Police.
The incident occurred at approximately 12:23 a.m. Authorities say 38-year-old Alex S. Morehouse of Warrensburg was operating the motorcycle with 38-year-old Suzie J. Etu of South Glens Falls as a passenger. The motorcycle struck a curb and crashed near the intersection of Bacon Street and Glen Street. Morehouse was pronounced dead at the location, and Etu died later at Glens Falls Hospital.
Troopers had attempted to stop the motorcycle minutes earlier for a speeding violation on State Route 9 in Queensbury, but discontinued the pursuit due to safety concerns. The crash occurred shortly afterward and was witnessed by members of the Glens Falls Police Department.
The New York State Attorney General’s Office was notified and responded to the scene. The investigation remains ongoing.
