Kidder Township, PA (August 4, 2026) – Pennsylvania State Police at the Pocono barracks say a rear-end crash on the Northeast Extension of the PA Turnpike left a truck driver injured.
Troopers said the crash happened around 12:20 p.m. on Aug. 4 at mile marker 90.3 in Kidder Township, Carbon County. Justin R. Kirkham, 30, of Croydon, was driving a 2024 Ford southbound when he veered to the right and struck the rear of a 2026 Mack truck driven by Chase J. Anderson, 34, of West Deptford, New Jersey.
Anderson was hurt in the collision and was taken by the Lehighton Ambulance Association to St. Luke’s Hospital, Carbon Campus, in Franklin Township. Police said the severity of his injuries has not been determined.
Kirkham was cited in connection with the crash, according to police.
