Lackawanna County, PA (July 26, 2025) – A 21-year-old man from Peckville, identified as Andrew Heid, was killed after crashing his motorcycle on Route 107 in Mayfield early Saturday morning, July 26, 2025. The Lackawanna County Coroner’s Office pronounced Heid dead at the scene.
The fatal crash occurred around 2 a.m. near the intersection of Rushbrook Street and U.S. Route 6. According to the Mayfield Borough Police, the preliminary investigation shows that Heid lost control of his motorcycle, leading to the crash.
