Lehman Township, PA (April 8, 2025) – A serious vehicle crash involving entrapment was reported Tuesday morning at the intersection of Brodhead Road and Route 209, according to emergency officials.
The incident occurred at approximately 7:14 a.m. and triggered a high-level emergency response. Lehman Fire’s Engine 5 and National Park Service (NPS) DWGNRA Fire units responded to the scene.
First responders provided care to the injured at the site. One or more individuals were reportedly trapped in their vehicle and required mechanical extrication. Authorities reported multiple injuries, but the number of patients and their conditions have not been confirmed.
The crash happened near a busy stretch of Route 209 bordering the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. Emergency crews remained on scene until all injured individuals were transported and the area was secured.
