Mahopac, NY (April 7, 2025) – A one-car crash closed the entrance to Baldwin Road from Route 6 for over 30 minutes on Monday afternoon, according to the Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department.
Emergency crews responded to the scene at around 1:15 p.m., where a vehicle had struck a utility pole. The Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department and Carmel Police Department arrived shortly after the incident was reported.
Officials said the driver was able to exit the vehicle on their own before responders arrived. The individual reported no injuries and declined medical evaluation or transport. The car was rendered inoperable and required towing from the scene.
Authorities have not provided additional details, and the incident remains under review.
