Middleburgh, NY (July 29, 2025) – One person is dead after a Tuesday afternoon crash on Route 145 near Schoharie Hill Road in Middleburgh, according to New York State Police.
Troopers said they responded to the two-car crash at 1:30 p.m. One passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. Both drivers and four other passengers are being evaluated at local hospitals with what authorities believe are non-life-threatening injuries.
Route 145 was closed for an investigation and collision reconstruction.
