Newfield, NY (July 26, 2025 ) – A two-car collision at the intersection of Main Street and Elmira Road on Saturday morning resulted in serious injuries for multiple individuals. The incident, which occurred at approximately 10:35 a.m. in the Town of Newfield, prompted a significant emergency response from several Tompkins County agencies.
According to the Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened when a grey 2020 Honda CR-V, traveling on Main Street, allegedly failed to yield the right of way. The Honda then collided with a grey 2009 Ford Escape that was proceeding south on Elmira Road.
