Rochester, NY (August 9, 2025) – A man was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries Saturday night after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run incident at the intersection of Lexington Avenue and Straub Street. According to police, the crash occurred when the man was walking in the street and was struck by a dark-colored vehicle, possibly an older model Jeep.

The vehicle fled the scene, and the pedestrian sustained a head injury. He was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment, where he remains under care.
