Oneida County, NY (August 01, 2025) – A truck driver was hospitalized after a medical incident caused him to crash his box truck off Townline Road Friday morning at about 9:19 a.m., according to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said Thomas Cliff, 51, of Baldwinsville, was eastbound on Townline Road when his vehicle went off the roadway, struck a telephone pole, and came to rest in a field. Cliff suffered non-life-threatening injuries to his head and hand and was taken to Wynn Hospital in Utica for treatment.
Authorities confirmed that no tickets were issued, as the crash was attributed to the medical incident.
