Onondaga, NY (May 26, 2025) – A serious ATV crash occurred on State Route 20 in the town of Onondaga at 8:28 p.m. on May 26, 2025, leaving a 45-year-old man with significant injuries.
According to preliminary reports, Matthew L. Flanagan of Lafayette was operating a 2016 Can-Am ATV eastbound on State Route 20. While attempting to turn into a driveway at an unsafe speed, Flanagan lost control of the vehicle, which rolled over and ejected him.
Flanagan was transported by ambulance to Upstate Hospital with internal injuries. Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
