New Hartford, NY (September 3, 2025) – 34-year-old Philip DiPerna of Sauquoit was injured Wednesday evening in a motorcycle crash on Route 840 in New Hartford.
The crash occurred around 5:40 p.m. on September 3rd, 2025, when DiPerna’s motorcycle went off the highway, resulting in a serious arm injury. Paramedics responded quickly and transported him to Wynn Hospital for medical treatment.
Route 840 was partially closed to traffic in the northbound lane while crews cleared the scene and ensured safety.
No tickets have been issued at this time, and the investigation is ongoing. Route 840 has since reopened to traffic.
