Rochester, NY (June 02, 2025) – A serious crash on Monday afternoon at 1700 Culver Rd, in front of the popular Donuts Delite restaurant, left at least one person trapped inside a vehicle and multiple individuals injured, according to Monroe County emergency dispatch records.

The incident occurred around 2:00 p.m. and prompted a large-scale emergency response from the Rochester Fire Department, EMS, and local law enforcement. The crash was classified as a “MVA WITH PEOPLE TRAPPED,” signaling that one or more victims required the use of extrication tools to be freed from their vehicle. Fire crews employed hydraulic rescue equipment to safely remove the trapped occupant, while paramedics treated several individuals at the scene. At least one person was transported to a nearby hospital for injuries requiring advanced medical care.

The area surrounding Culver Rd was temporarily closed to accommodate rescue efforts and cleanup operations. Witnesses described the scene as chaotic, with debris from the damaged vehicles scattered near the Donuts Delite parking lot. Both vehicles involved in the collision sustained significant damage, indicating a high-impact crash.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation, with preliminary reports suggesting a possible failure to yield or high speed. No official statements regarding the cause have been released, and the identities of those injured have not been made public.
