Rochester, NY (May 26, 2025) – A motor vehicle accident occurred on East Main Street in Rochester on the evening of May 26, when a vehicle collided with a utility pole near the intersection of East Main Street and Woodstock Avenue.
Emergency responders, including the Rochester Police Department (RPD) and the New York State Police (NYSP), quickly arrived at the scene. Upon arrival, they discovered that the utility pole had fallen onto the vehicle. Fortunately, the driver of the vehicle was unharmed, and no injuries were reported from the incident.
The vehicle was towed from the scene, and authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. As per standard protocol, RPD has reached out to the New York State Police to determine whether charges will be filed against the driver.
