Ogden, NY (October 22, 2025) – A 65-year-old woman from Gates was tragically killed in a two-vehicle crash Monday evening on Spencerport Road near Sias Lane, according to the Ogden Police Department.
Police identified the victim as Rosetta Mundt, who was a passenger in a westbound car driven by her son, 25-year-old Noah Mundt of Brighton. Around 5:15 p.m. on 20th October, 2025, an eastbound vehicle driven by a 17-year-old Spencerport boy attempted to turn left onto Sias Lane and collided with the Mundts’ vehicle.
Rosetta Mundt was found unresponsive at the scene and later died from her injuries at Strong Memorial Hospital, authorities confirmed. Her son, Noah, and the teen driver were both transported to Strong with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said the crash occurred near Spencerport High School, and the roadway was temporarily closed as first responders cleared the scene and investigators collected evidence. The Ogden Police Department continues to investigate the fatal collision.
Our thoughts are with the Mundt family and all those affected by this devastating accident.
