Salina, NY (August 01, 2025) – On Friday, August 1, 2025, around 12:30 p.m., a southbound Enterprise rental box truck struck the railroad bridge on the Onondaga County Lake Parkway in Salina, according to the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office.

The driver was identified as Alexis Brown, 33, of Raleigh, North Carolina. Authorities confirmed that no injuries were reported as a result of the collision, and there was no damage to the bridge.

Brown was issued 14 traffic tickets following the incident. The roadway, which had been closed, has since been reopened in both directions.
