Sherburne, NY (July 03, 2025) – A pedestrian was killed Thursday night in a hit-and-run accident on State Highway 80 near the Rogers Conservation Center in Sherburne.
The incident occurred at approximately 8:45 p.m. when the pedestrian was struck by a newer model black Ram crew cab pickup truck. The truck has black rims and damage to the front passenger side. The driver fled the scene, and the sheriff’s office is currently investigating the incident.
