Slippery Rock Township, PA (April 11, 2025) – A woman was killed and another individual was seriously injured following a four-vehicle crash Friday afternoon on Route 422, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
The incident occurred shortly before 4:00 p.m. in Lawrence County. Police said a chain-reaction collision began when one vehicle struck another, causing it to flip onto the driver’s side. That vehicle was then pushed into a third, which subsequently struck a fourth.
Kristen Ady, 37, was identified as the passenger in the vehicle that flipped. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of that vehicle was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
Route 422 was closed for several hours following the crash but has since reopened.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
