Sullivan, NY (October 25, 2025) – A 22-year-old man is in critical condition after being airlifted to Upstate University Hospital following a three-vehicle crash in the town of Sullivan on Thursday night.
According to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred around 8:40 p.m. on 23rd October, 2025, near Perryville and Mohr Roads. Isaiah Schaub, 22, of Sullivan, was driving a 2003 Buick sedan northwest on Perryville Road when he lost control while navigating a curve. His vehicle crossed into the opposite lane and collided with a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado traveling southeast. The collision caused the Buick to roll over, crashing into a 2013 Volkswagen Tiguan, also traveling southeast.
Schaub was extricated from his vehicle and airlifted to Upstate University Hospital by Mercy Flight Central. He remains in critical condition.
The driver of the Silverado, Kevin Sullivan, 63, of Hubbardsville, and his two adult passengers were transported to Community Memorial Hospital in Hamilton for evaluation of minor injuries. The 17-year-old driver of the Tiguan was also transported to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse with minor injuries.
