Sullivan Township, PA (April 29, 2025) – Two people were killed and two children injured in a crash Tuesday afternoon in Tioga County, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
The incident occurred at 2:20 p.m. on Route 6 near Bailey Road. A Towanda Area School District vehicle traveling eastbound crossed into the westbound lane and collided with a commercial truck.
The school vehicle driver, 66-year-old Ronald Wickwire, and a 9-year-old boy were pronounced dead at the scene. Two other children, ages 12 and 6, were airlifted to a nearby hospital. Their conditions have not been released.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
