Syracuse, NY (June 15, 2025) – Police are looking into a serious incident involving a motorcycle and a dirt bike that occurred on Sunday evening. The accident transpired around 6:29 p.m. at the intersection of Midland Avenue and West Borden Avenue.
A motorcyclist, a man in his late 50s, sustained severe injuries in the hit-and-run involving the dirt bike. Following the incident, he was rushed to Upstate University Hospital. Fortunately, authorities have informed the public that the motorcyclist is expected to survive.
Preliminary reports indicate that the clash happened when the dirt bike operator, who was traveling southbound on Midland Avenue, collided with the motorcyclist. After the accident, the dirt bike rider left the scene before any first responders could arrive.
