Syracuse, NY (July 31, 2025) – A pedestrian was killed in a crash in Syracuse on Thursday morning. The Syracuse Police Department said officers responded to the area of East Adams Street and South Townsend Street around 7 a.m. for a report of the crash.
Officers found a man on the roadway just north of the intersection suffering from traumatic injuries. He was taken to Upstate University Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Police did not release his name.
