Rochester, NY (September 12, 2025) – Multiple people were injured Thursday evening, September 11, 2025, in a three-car crash at the intersection of East Avenue and Culver Road in Rochester.
According to Rochester Police, a 54-year-old man driving an SUV ran a red light on Culver Road, colliding with a second vehicle. That vehicle continued forward and struck a third car waiting at the intersection.
The driver of the second vehicle, a 55-year-old woman, was taken to Highland Hospital after complaining of pain. Others involved sustained minor injuries or were unharmed.
The 54-year-old SUV driver was issued a citation for failing to obey a traffic signal. Emergency responders assisted at the scene and ensured the injured were treated promptly.
Rochester Police continue to investigate the crash, including reviewing contributing factors such as traffic conditions and driver behavior.
