Harford, NY (October 9, 2025) – Three people were injured Wednesday morning, 8th October, 2025, in a two-vehicle crash on New York State Route 221 in Harford.
Harford Fire and Emergency Services responded to the scene around 11:17 a.m. The vehicles involved required extrication, and three occupants were safely removed from one of the vehicles by Marathon Fire Department personnel.
Responding agencies included the Marathon Fire Department, Dryden Fire Department, Cortland County Sheriff’s Office, and Rons Towing, who assisted with the rescue and scene management. The injuries were reported as minor, and all victims received medical evaluation at the scene.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances that led to the crash. Traffic on NY-221 was temporarily disrupted while crews worked to secure the area and clear the vehicles.
