Buffalo, NY (August 23, 2025) – Two Buffalo police officers and one civilian were injured Saturday night in a crash on Niagara Street. The incident occurred around 9:44 p.m. at 1543 Niagara Street.

Officials reported that the injuries were non-life-threatening. One officer is being evaluated for a possible broken arm, while the other sustained a laceration to the hand. The civilian, who was driving the other vehicle involved, was evaluated at ECMC along with the two officers.

Emergency responders arrived promptly at the scene to provide care and manage traffic. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
