Webb, NY (May 18, 2025) – A single-vehicle rollover collision occurred on State Route 28 in the town of Webb, Herkimer County, at approximately 9:11 a.m. on May 18, 2025.
State Police responded to the scene and determined that 54-year-old Danny Frieden of Rome, NY, was driving a 2023 Subaru Crosstrek southbound when he hydroplaned on the wet road, lost control, and struck an earth embankment. The vehicle flipped over onto its roof.
Frieden was not injured in the incident. No tickets have been issued at this time.
