York County, PA (May 9, 2025) – Seven students sustained minor injuries Friday afternoon following a head-on collision between a Dallastown school bus and an SUV on South Franklin Street, according to the York County Office of Emergency Management.
The crash occurred around 3:00 p.m. Emergency responders from Southern Area Fire and Emergency Rescue quickly arrived at the scene and began evaluating the children on board the bus.
Seven students were treated for minor injuries by EMS and were later released to their parents. Other uninjured students were safely transferred to a different bus. No injuries were reported among the occupants of the SUV.
York County Regional Police are conducting the investigation into the crash.
