York, NY - Pedestrian Killed in Collision with Ford Fiesta on Main Street

York, NY (July 15, 2025) – A fatal pedestrian accident occurred on Main Street in the town of York, Livingston County, on July 15, 2025, at approximately 7:40 p.m.

Preliminary investigation revealed that a 63-year-old woman was crossing Main Street when she was struck by a 2014 Ford Fiesta traveling northbound. The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene by emergency medical services (EMS).

The driver of the Ford Fiesta, identified as Bryan D. Royston, age 52, of Hilton, NY, remained at the scene and contacted 911. He was interviewed by troopers, who detected no signs of impairment. Royston was evaluated by EMS but declined further medical treatment.

The New York State Police’s Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) and Collision Reconstruction Unit (CRU) responded to assist with the investigation, which remains ongoing.
